When you're executing a kitchen remodel, your San Diego, California area kitchen cabinets will be one of the more important decisions you will have to make. Since your cabinets will likely surround you on all three sides, you will have to be extra careful about the styles, color and materials. The wrong color or style in cabinets can mean the difference between an ordinary kitchen and an elegant masterpiece of a room.
Choosing kitchen cabinets are simply a matter of how much you can afford to spend. If you can afford to do so, always go in for custom kitchen cabinets. You have an endless variety of styles to choose from, and you can easily blend two or three styles to create the kitchen of your dreams. Materials are yours to play with and you can mix and match textures and paint colors to create a fantasy kitchen. If your budget doesn't allow for an expensive custom kitchen, choose from the number of stock options that you have. You might have a very limited range to choose from but they are more affordable. They are also easy to install as they come pre fabricated and only need to be fitted in. Another option could be a semi custom cabinet that has some elements that are prefabricated and are therefore quicker to install.
Your kitchen cabinets could eat into as much as half of your kitchen remodeling costs. Cheap kitchen cabinets can be had with the use of laminates and other cheaper material. If you want an elegant kitchen however a cherry kitchen cabinet is the choice for you. Cherry kitchen cabinets are more expensive because of the expensive kind of wood involved, and offer your San Diego, California area kitchen a rich and warm look that's unmatched. Depending on the craftsmanship your cherry kitchen cabinets can last long and can get distinctly more beautiful over time giving you a vintage kitchen cabinet that's stunning to look at.
Hi - wondering about a kitchen remodel - very preliminary. House was built in late 70's, about 2500 sq ft - standard kitchen with eating area. would like to have new floor, new cabinets, new counters, new stove. Perhaps minor structural modification - push out one interior wall. Could you give me some idea of a ballpark cost - none of this would be high-end style/materials, but decent quality. thank you

I have what I believe is the smallest kitchen ever. We even still have marlite on our walls. We would love to update or remodel the kitchen without spending a fortune!
